“Pura bottles are unique in that they have changeable silicone mouth piece accessories and so they can literally be used from infancy until adulthood.
This insulated bottle is super strong but not too heavy. It has a removable tube of coloured silicone for grip, with a loop for easy holding. The lid is a silicone ‘Big Mouth sports top’ which allows for free flowing liquid, however has a much smaller opening than a fully open bottle, so it would catch ice and also spill less.
What I love about this lid is that is makes for super easy cleaning. Water bottles in general are prone to mould due to their damp environment and the fact they get used for a longer period and so stay wet for that time. Ease of cleaning and the ability to see completely inside the mouth piece means that this is a much healthier choice than dealing with a valve whose inside is a mystery.
The lid is leak-proof, however easy to open and close. This bottle would therefore be better placed in a side bottle pocket on the outside of a bag rather than inside a bag in case an object in the bag pushed up the lid.
Pura are very impressive in that they submit all their products yearly for lab testing through MadeSafe which carries out extensive screening for toxins according to extremely strict criteria. This is a company which really values consumer health and transparency.
This is an amazing insulated drink bottle which is as non-toxic as you get in both materials and also the ability to keep clean. Highly recommended.”
“Pura Kiki have designed their bottles to be completely plastic free and to evolve with your changing needs for lifelong use. This stainless steel insulated sports bottle comes in a range of great colours (shown on its silicone sleeve and top). The sleeve has a loop to hang the bottle and the top has a wide mouth for drinking. You can unscrew the top for cleaning or adding ice easily. I found it to be very well made and nice that there are no plastic parts. The silicone top is a bit unusual to drink from as it has a silicone taste but you get used to it. The silicone sleeve is nice to hold and overall a great bottle.

“This bottle is the perfect size and the silicone ring handle makes it easy to pick up while exercising. I also like that the lid is so easy to open and close, unlike other stainless steel bottles that require you to twist the lid several times to open – this comes in handy while taking a sneaky sip mid-yoga pose!
It keeps water ice cold if needed – it would be the perfect water buddy during a heated yoga class. My only criticism is that I don’t like how the lid opens to the side of the opening – after a week of using it, I still went to drink from the opposite side of the spout, as opposed to the side. Just feels awkward to me, but I guess with a few months of use, I’d get used to it! I like that the mouth/lid is replaceable and that you can switch between different styles such as a sippy straw. It’s a versatile bottle and I can see it lasting a lifetime.”
“Great design, it has a soft flexible mouth piece for easy drinking & flow. Plastic free & unbreakable. It has adaptable lids & is what’s known as an Eco-progressive bottle that comes with a standard adult mouth piece, but it can also be fitted with a child’s mouth piece.”
“Great Sports Bottle (Son has already claimed it.) I love the additional lids bottle tops you can also purchase! I love the added silicone for non-slip.”
