“The Embalm Uplifting Cleanser is the ultimate deep cleansing, detoxifying and moisturising cleanser. I’m not normally one to enjoy stronger fragrances, but this cleanser with lavender, lemon myrtle and patchouli essential oils was such a joy to use in the mornings, I’d really look forward to it.
With activated charcoal to absorb impurities as well as green tea and moisturising meadowfoam oil all in a base of aloe vera, this cleanser left my skin clean and soft. I have sensitive skin and can break out easily when using the wrong products, but this was brilliant. Highly recommended.”

“The Embalm Uplifting Cleanser is different from other cleansers I have used as it has an aloe base. One of the other key ingredients is activated charcoal to deeply cleanse the skin. I have had clogged pores for years that have never improved and after a week using this cleanser, I can see a real improvement. I love that it’s a really Australian product using native ingredients like Lilly Pilly and Quandong. It comes out of the bottle quite quickly so be careful when you tip it as you need less than you think you do for it to work effectively. This cleanser from Embalm is a really great product and cleanses your skin beautifully.

“Well I certainly wasn’t expecting this cleanser to be black in colour when I squeezed into my palm, but I do love a surprise! With activated charcoal as its key ingredient, this cleanser has been really gentle on my skin. As mentioned in other reviews, I can really feel the difference when products use Aloe Vera as a base instead of water, this cleanser just feels softer on my skin. Over the week I’ve been trialling it my skin looks brighter and I’ve noticed a slight pore reduction.”

“This is the ideal cleanser for sensitive skin & those prone to congestion. It cleanses & removes daily grime without stripping the skin & it smells wonderful. This is the most generous cleanser, 125 ml & concentrated so only a very small amount is needed. Made from Aloe Vera leaf Juice, this ingredient works wonders on all skin types, it works by cleansing & hydrating the skin delivering essential skin-friendly vitamins to the skin that leaves your skin glowing & conditioned. This is an excellent cleanser that won’t irritate or dry the skin, it removes makeup & delivers antioxidant benefits which I love! If I was choosing the nicest aroma of all cleansers then this product would win hands down, it has fresh citrus notes with earthy undertones that are deep & sensual, it is not over powering, but the scent lingers & is very satisfying to use.”

“Great Travel size bottle, smells great, I found that even after I had thoroughly washed my face this cleanser was still drawing out dirt and impurities.”
