“There is so much to love about Mikash Skincare’s Organic Barrier Balm. I love that it is made with only 4 ingredients which are all organic and ethically sourced. I love that due to being made up only of oils, there is no preservative needed and it is also highly concentrated so that a little goes a long way. I also love that it contains no nut oils and no top allergen ingredients so that it would be suitable to use on young children and babies with eczema.
This is a really rich, nourishing and protective balm. It is perfect to be used as a protective shield over the skin for eczema conditions, cradle cap, cuts and scrapes, dry skin, cracked heels, dry lips and sunburn. This balm smells pleasantly coconutty, though not overwhelming.
This is very much a barrier balm in that it isn’t all absorbed by the skin and whilst it is moisturising with shea butter, it also has beeswax which forms a fine protective layer over the skin to hold in moisture and protect it from the environment.
I used this on both myself and my 19month old eczema prone son. For myself, I used it on dry skin and rough elbows and knees which I found softening, protecting and soothing. For my son who requires being covered head to toe in a barrier cream multiple times a day, this balm was very effective in keeping his skin hydrated and clear.
I highly recommend Mikash’s Organic Barrier Balm for use as both a super effective non-toxic baby skincare product and also a multipurpose balm. It is beautifully simple, high quality and effective.”

“Wow, this barrier balm has literally been applied EVERYWHERE since I opened it. Baby’s bum and body, my lips, hands, arms and even the inside of my nose. On my 3-year-old’s rash and my husband’s dermatitis. It is by far the best product I’ve used for a sore baby bottom – it creates a strong barrier against the wet and reduces redness within an hour of using it.
It has a lovely subtle scent and contains all the ingredients delicate skin needs (and nothing else). I like that it comes in a glass jar, and I’ll definitely keep using it!”
