“We’re a Montessori family and so we try to give the children the opportunity to carry out real life tasks and give them the chance to experience the satisfaction that comes with mastering such skills. A classic example of this is giving a child a small but normal cup to drink from rather than a sippy cup. I’ve got a collection of small ceramic cups which my daughter used with care. My son (18 months) on the other hand is a whirlwind of energy and whilst I can handle cleaning up water on the floor, it is very different cleaning up sharp fragments of broken cup with two young children threatening to walk over them!
The Sippy Skillz Cup is a saviour. Not only will it not break, but it has been specially designed for small hands. Having a capacity of 150ml, it is small enough for very young children, but large enough to stay relevant for years. Charlie loves his cup and holds it easily and steadily by its handles on either side. Another wonderfully clever feature of this cup is that its opening is smaller than its base. This means that it is less likely to spill out the top and more stable when it is put down. Such a well thought out product.
The Sippy Skillz Cup is a wonderful non-toxic product that helps a child build the hand eye coordination, controlled movement and proprioception from using a real cup without the stress of breakage.”

“The Sippy Skillz Baby Cup is not only beautiful looking but so practical and easy to use. Bub just loves the feel of it in his hands and the self-control he has over his own drink. As it’s made from high grade silicone it’s kind on tiny teeth too (being used as a make shift teething toy between sips!) The wide base stops it from spilling. I love being able to give my little one his own cup and teach drinking from such a safe, baby friendly item.

“This cup is so cute it almost looks like a toy! I’ve been using open cups with both my babas and what I like about this cup is that it has tiny handles for him to control the cup with. My nearly-one year old has already mastered picking the cup up, even if it means most of it goes go down his front!! I love the materials used, the only thing for me is that it isn’t see-through so difficult for me or bub to decipher how full it is.”

“Adorable & completely practical. Super safe for youngsters, unbreakable so absolutely no worries about toddlers handling them & no worries about them damaging furniture or other items, kids always love to make noise & bash things around, these cups are soft to squeeze, I love that they look slightly old-school in the shape, but they are so modern & designed with a narrow opening to help keep liquids inside the cup.”

“Great size for transition to cups. Handles are a little small though. Quality also really great.”
